John Dirne is een zeer succesvolle jonge Nederlandse producer die ondanks zijn leeftijd zijn sporen ruimschoot in de muziek business heeft verdiend. Na zo'n 125 top 100 noteringen en 7 top 10 hits met o.a. artiesten als: Parla & Pardoux, DJ Galaga, Mental theo, en Roy Gates, besloot deze muzikale duizendpoot begin 2004 om zelf in het voetlicht te treden.
Als DJ John Marks is hij in korte tijd uitgegroeid tot een veel gevraagd fenomeen in de binnen en buitenlandse Club-scene. Zijn debuut single "Tracking" met bijbehorende Videoclip werd reeds weken voor de release datum tot Dance Alert bij The Box gebombardeerd. Ook werd de single met maar liefst 88% gemaakt in het programma "Maak ’t of Kraak ‘t". Naast het bereiken van een riante positie in de Mega Top 100, stond Tracking geruime tijd op de playlists van Radio 538 en TMF.
De opvolger "Don’t Stop" werd ondersteund door een spectaculaire Videoclip die is opgenomen in Turkije. Uniek detail is dat vrijwel alle 12 provinciale winnaressen incl. Miss Nederland 2003 & 2004 een rol in deze clip vertolken. "Don’t Stop" stond geruime tijd op de rotatielijst van TMF en kreeg clipcode op The Box (254). Tevens is de single ruim gemaakt in het programma "Maak ’t of Kraak ‘t", kwam een week na release binnen op 38 in de Mega Top 50 en stond wekenlang op de playlists van Radio 538 en major Dance stations zoals: XFM, Fresh FM, Hot Radio en Yam FM. 
Met de 3e single "Update" keerde John Marks terug naar zijn "roots", want de vertrouwde "Tracking drive" was back! "Update" ging alleen veel verder dan zijn voorgangers en wordt nog steeds door menig Club DJ gebruikt als major Floorfiller. De spectaculaire (superhete) videoclip kreeg Clipcode 485 op The Box, had high rotation op TMF, Radio 538 en Slam FM, is in het 538 programma "Maak ’t of Kraak ‘t" gemaakt met maar liefst 92,4%, stond op 32 in de Top 100, op op 38 in de Top 40 op 29 in de Pepsichart, op 2 in de Slam 40 , op 14 in de Fresh 40, op 11 in de Radio 538 Tipparade en werd zelfs "Dancesmash" & Grandslam!
De nieuwe single "Do it Again" is een samenwerking tussen Spinnin’ Records en White Villa Records en bevat tevens een Remix van Ron van den Beuken! In de bijbehorende Video Clip wordt John Marks vergezeld door alle Miss Universe 2005 kandidaten!
De single evenals het toekomstige debuut album (release eind 2005) worden wereldwijd aangeboden. De muziekstijl van John Marks kan omschreven worden als "Club Trance". DJ John Marks draait regelmatig in Nederland en vele andere landen!

John Marks is living proof of a DJ/Producer whose career is now taken to the maximum level. Being practically born in a studio, Marks fascination with music has been in his blood from day one. "His love for music developed his natural talent" said his management, which results in his own, unique and creative ability to posses the field of mixing. John marks electrified his audience all over the world, from the USA and Caribbean to the south of Europe.
The musical wiz kid not only plays dazzling music, he also records and produces his own tracks. His experience, talent and energy paid of, resulting in the world wide release of his music. After producing approximately 150 highly quotated records with many different artists and also developing his own DJ skills, he decided that the time had come to work at his own career as a DJ.
His debut single "Tracking" was born four years ago but Marks waited till the right streaming to release his product. This first single with spectacular music video made it weeks before release to "Dance Alert" on Dutch number one Video station The Box. It also got high quotations in the Dutch Megacharts and on major radio stations like: Radio 538 and TMF.
The 2nd single "Don’t Stop" was accompanied by a spectacular Music video which was shot in Turkey. In the clip all 12 participants of "Miss Netherlands" (including Miss Netherlands 2003 & 2004) played a part. The making of & Release of the John Marks Music Video was broadcasted on Dutch TV station SBS 6. "Don’t Stop" also had rotation on the Dutch number one Music stations TMF and The Box and major Dance Radio Stations. Soon after release the track reached a 38 position in the Dutch Top 100.
With the 3rd single "Update" John Marks went back to his roots, because the old "Tracking Drive" had returned. But "Update" goes much further and shows a major progress of Marks talent and creativity. Club DJ’s around the world still use the track as major Floorfiller. The Music Video had high rotation on Dutch number one video stations TMF & The Box and also on radio stations like: Radio 538 & Slam FM. Hitfacts: Dutch Top 100 (32), Top 40 (38), Pepsichart (29), Slam 40 (2), Fresh 40 (14), Tipparade (11). The track also made it to "Dancesmash" and Grandslam!
The newest release "Do it Again" is a joined venture between Spinnin’ Records and White Villa Records! The single also contains a special remix by Ron van den Beuken! In the music video John Marks is accompanied by the extreme beautiful participants of Miss Universe 2005! Insiders already pronounce "Do it Again" to be his world wide break through. Release: September 2005! 
Music critics remain confused as how to label his original sound, Marks calls it: "Club Trance" or even with his successes, thousands of CD’s sold, his own high tech studio and label, John Marks stays incredibly modest and grateful to be in pursuit of his passion...
His debut Album will be released before the end of 2005.
