Beep Beep.... time to wake up! Get out of your lazy bed.....want sinds het begin van de zomer van 2004 is er 4:AM! Een nieuwe coole band bestaande uit 4 (hoe kan het ook anders) ambitieuze jonge gasten die na lange auditierondes met elkaar het popavontuur aan gaan. Een avontuur is het absoluut, want in de muziekbusiness is momenteel weinig zeker...

De groep bestaat uit: Jeff (20), de dromer van de groep.. Hij had als jochie van 10 de hoofdrol in de musical Tommy ... over een jongentje dat verdwaald raakt in een flipperkast! Dat zou in het echt ook kunnen gebeuren met Jeff. Gelukkig houden zijn 4:AM vrienden hem een beetje in de gaten.... Dan heb je ook nog Daan (21) , hij is de technische man van 4:AM Dat komt omdat ie een opleiding theatertechniek heeft gedaan. Voor een optreden checkt hij persoonlijk het geluid en het licht in de zaal. Pas als het in orde is mag de gig beginnen... Xander (19) is zingend geboren. Op zijn 7e deed ie zijn eerste optreden voor publiek, daarna won ie veel prijzen en maakte al eens eerder een singletje. Op het podium staan doet ie nog liever dan slapen, terwijl hij dat ook erg lekker vindt. Hij schrijft ook liedjes voor de band.... Koen (16) is een sportieveling. Als zijn werk met 4:AM het toelaat, voetbalt ie graag. Verder speelt ie toneel aan het beroemde Hoflpleintheater en wordt zelfs soms gevraagd voor een hoofdrol bij de musicals op school!

De opvallende sound van 4:AM kenmerkt zich door catchy popsongs met goeie hooks. Vaak gebaseerd op een verraderlijke melodie die ja na 2x luisteren al meezingt! Als voorbeeld, het mooie 'Livin' on love' dat een prachtige ballad is. Het voldoet aan alles waaraan een goed popliedje moet voldoen. 'Feels like lovin you' is een kreet recht uit het hart. Het is een up-tempo track met een eerlijke lading en gezongen met passie!

Beep Beep.... time to wake up! Get out of your lazy bed...because the summer 2004 brought us 4:AM! A sizzling new band consisting of 4 ambitious young guys who, after long audition rounds, are now going on an adventure! And it truly is an adventure, because in the music business one never knows what's around the corner!

The band are: Jeff (20), the dreamer in the group…when he was 10 he played the lead role in the musical "Tommy". It was about a little boy lost in a pinball machine. In real life it could just as well be Jeff! Fortunately, his 4:AM friends keep his feet firmly on the ground! Then there is Daan (21), the technical man of 4:AM, who studied theatre technics. Before each gig, he personally checks the sound and the light. If they're okay, the gig can start…Sander (19) is a born singer. On his 7th birthday he did his first show in front of an audience, and went on to win many prices and release a single. Being on stage is for him even better than sleeping, which he also finds very nice. He's the band's songwriter... Koen (16) loves sports. When his work with 4:AM allows it, he likes to play soccer. Furthermore, he is an actor and plays drama at the famous Hofpleintheatre in Rotterdam. Most of the time he is asked as one of the main characters in the play.

The striking sound of 4:AM is based on catchy popsongs with good hooks, and the melodies are truly addictive - listen to any 4:AM tune twice, and you can already sing the song! For example, the beautiful "Livin' on love...", which is a splendid ballad with all ingredients of a perfect pop song. "Feels like lovin you", a line coming straight from the heart, is an up-tempo track with sung with gusto and passion!
